  9/20/07 - Dorman spoke to the members of the San Diego, CA chapter of NACM's CFDD (Credit & Financial Development Division). His topic was an update on "Preference Defense post-BAPCPA and E-Discovery."

• American Bankruptcy Institute's Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee
  Dorman Wood participated as a Co-Chair in the American Bankruptcy Institute's Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee's Prefence Task Force meeting on December 2, 2006 in Scottsdale, AZ during ABI's Winter Conference. Members of the Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee discussed ongoing issues regarding revisions of the bankruptcy laws that became effective 10/17/05 under BAPCPA (Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act.)

  Dorman Wood participated as Co-Chair in the American Bankruptcy Institute's Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee meeting on April 22, 2006 in Washington, DC. Members of the Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee will discuss ongoing issues regarding revisions of the bankruptcy laws that became effective 10/17/05 under BAPCPA (Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act).

  Dorman Wood, CEW, CCE gave a presentation on Preference Defense during the CFDD's Western Regional Conference in Denver, CO. Conference Attendees included credit executives from member companies throughout the mid-west, southwest and west coast.

• Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee meeting
  Dorman Wood attended the Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee meeting during the American Bankruptcy Institute's Winter Leadership Conference at Indian Wells, CA during December 2-3, 2005. An active member of the UTCC, Dorman also serves on the UTCC's subcommittee on bankruptcy preference. During the UTCC meeting, Dorman and other members discussed the revisions of BAPCPA and their potential affect on reclamation, serving on unsecured trade creditor committees and defending preference claims
