The analysis of an industry's (or industries) payment history; aka DSO or Days Sales Outstanding, is essential in determining the viability of an ordinary course of business defense [Û 547(c)].
Most B2B business relationships cross the boundaries of several SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) or NAICS (North American Industrial Classification System) categories. As an example, an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) selling computer products may do business with electronic component manufacturers, contract manufacturers and assemblers, VARs (value added resellers), integrators, distributors or end users. While some of the involved parties may come under the same or a related SIC category, many may be identified under separate category. To present a broad analysis covering all involved parties and their respective SIC categories, it is recommended that an analysis of pertinent SIC categories be conducted.
Our Industry Payment History Analysis incorporates data gleaned from a variety of sources and is presented in a format that is easy to read and understand. Each analysis typically covers a three-year period, including current year. Please contact us for pricing or if you would like a sample report.
